Got another pattern finished this week. This one is name after my cousin, Mary Margaret, known to the family as Maggie and as a child, Maggie Mo. I am blessed with having really cool cousins!

A couple of new patterns this week. Well, actually three. I love seeing each pattern evolve. Next month I will be presenting at NCQC. The month after, my hubby and I and the Grandtwins are going on a road trip, visiting quilt shops and seeing if anyone is interested in my patterns. Keep your fingers crossed ...

Two New Patterns This Weekend

This has been a productive weekend.  The first of two new patterns I designed this weekend is Gum Balls.  Notice the hint of an off centered checker board in the background. This quilt has great possibilities. It can be soft and muted in mono-chromatic fabrics or loud and proud in great primary colors. Dress it up patriotic with great reds, whites and blues or give it a holiday flair to represent your favorite holiday. Whichever way you make it, you’ll be thrilled at how quickly it goes together.

The second pattern is Sewing Under the Influence (SUI). Simple blocks on-point give the illusion of a gentle weave. You only need three different fabrics and a neutral border fabric to achieve the look of a woven quilt.

Tic Tac Patty Whack

Tic Tac Patty Whack is the latest pattern to get added to my pattern page.  It is quick to piece together and a joy to give.

I suddenly had a thought that as I finish each new pattern I should post them on my blog page.  The newest is Color Play.  After I got the quilt blocks laid out, I could kinda see the outline of an 'S'.  I was tempted to change the name to Superman, but I didn't.  Check it out ...

... where does the time fly.  At this rate I'll be dead before you know it.

Added a few more patterns to my Patterns page.  I have a lot more to add.  I have also figured out how to link to my Workshop supply lists.  Now I just have to put the supply list data on the site!
